Acne

Mohs Surgery

Mohs surgery is a highly effective treatment for certain types of skin cancer. It is an exacting procedure in which the dermatologist performs both surgical excision of the skin cancer and microscopic examination of the surgical margins to ensure that all skin cancer cells have been removed. Photodynamic Therapy/BLU-U

Photodynamic Therapy is a special treatment using a photosensitizing agent called Levulan ( 5 aminolevulinic acid HCL 20%) which is activated with the correct wavelength of light. This treatment removes sun damaged precancerous zones and spots called actinic keratosis. There is also a positive effect on sun damaged skin, fine lines, and blotchy pigmentation. It has the ability to minimize pores and reduce oil gland production. Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition and is not contagious. In its most common form it consists of red, scaly patches that commonly affects the elbows, knees and scalp, but can occur anywhere on the skin. Psoriasis can affect the nails and joints also. Squamous Cell Carcinoma
