Collins Advanced Dermatology Institute has been named the official dermatologist of the Round Rock Express by the Round Rock Express Baseball Club. Starting Friday, April 17th, fans, players, coaches and staff will be provided with complimentary sunscreen throughout the ballpark, including all men’s and women’s restrooms, clubhouses and other highly trafficked areas in the Dell Diamond facility.
“We are thrilled to have Collins Advanced Dermatology Institute on board this year to raise awareness about sun safety throughout the season, and to give Express fans access to sunscreen at games, protecting them from any future sun-related issues,” said Laura Fragoso, Senior Vice President of the Round Rock Express Baseball Club. “Additionally, it’s another way to support our efforts to promote America’s national pastime in a safe, fun, friendly and exciting atmosphere that allows fans and players alike to enjoy the game.”
Last month, Chris Collins, MD, FAAD, Board-Certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon expanded his dermatology practice, adding a second location in Round Rock. “Our practice is very much a part of the communities in which we serve,” said Dr. Collins. “Collaborating with the Round Rock Express was a fun, unique and highly effective to way raise awareness about sun safety and skin cancer among individuals within our community during the months of spring and summer.”
Collins Advanced Dermatology Institute was founded in 2013 in Leander, Texas, and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all skin, hair and nail diseases. A grand opening celebration is planned for April 23rd from 4pm to 7pm and will include a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce.
