JUVÉDERM™
At Collins, we offer JUVÉDERM™ Ultra, JUVÉDERM™ Ultra Plus and JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC.
JUVÉDERM™ Ultra injectable and JUVÉDERM™ Ultra Plus gel are colorless hyaluronic acid gels; they are injected into facial tissue to smooth wrinkles and folds, most commonly around the nose and mouth. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the human body which delivers nutrients, hydrates the skin and acts as a cushioning agent.
What else should you know about JUVÉDERM™ Ultra?
- JUVÉDERM™ Ultra is injected into areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur
- Temporarily adds volume to the skin and may give the appearance of a smoother surface

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC injectable gel filler is FDA-approved to instantly add volume to the cheek area. It gives you a subtle lift, helping to restore contour and give you a more youthful profile for up to 2 years, in patients over the age of 21.
What else should you know about JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC?
- After 24 hours, you should be able to resume your normal activities
- Side effects are moderate and generally last 2 to 4 weeks
- Common side effects include temporary reactions at the treatment site such as tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, pain, redness, discoloration, and itching
XEOMIN®
XEOMIN® is a prescription medication used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults. It contains botulinum toxin type A, a protein purified from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Botulinum toxin type A acts on nerve endings in muscles to prevent muscle fibers from contracting. By reducing these contractions, XEOMIN® can temporarily reduce the lines on your forehead between your brows and improve the appearance of moderate to severe crow’s feet.
What else should you know about XEOMIN®?
- When you squint or frown, the muscles between your brows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold & over time, as your skin ages and loses elasticity, these repeated contractions can cause persistent frown lines
- Botulinum toxin type A, the active ingredient in XEOMIN®, acts on nerve endings in muscles to prevent muscle fibers from contracting; by reducing these contractions, XEOMIN® can temporarily reduce the lines on your forehead between your brows
