Collins Advanced Dermatology Institute is excited to announce that we are the first in the local area to provide Radiesse® (+) (Radiesse Plus) dermal fillers. Chris D. Collins, MD will be administering the treatments at both our Leander and Round Rock locations. CADI_FB-Link_April-Radiesse If you are unfamiliar with Radiesse® (+), it is an innovative, new dermal filler that contains 0.3% Integral Lidocaine, which is a local anesthetic. With the addition of Integral Lidocaine, the pain experienced due to the injection is reduced to help ease the discomfort of the patient. This exciting new technology is perfect for someone who seeks smoother skin. Radiesse® (+) temporarily adds volume to help reduce the appearance of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, like the nasolabial folds. Nasolabial folds are the creases that extend from the corner of the nose to the corner of the mouth. Radiesse® (+) is not for everyone and you should consult your doctor before receiving treatments. If you have allergies related to Lidocaine or anesthetics similar to Lidocaine, you should not use Radiesse® (+). It is also recommended that after the procedure, you should avoid applying makeup, exposure to heat or the sun, and massaging or significant movement of the injected area for 24 hours.
